RSD is the result of the trama to the nerve. I was also told today that prolonging nerve entrapment could result in getting RSD. So anyone with VERY SEVERE PAIN, see a good doctor. I have had 10 steroid blocks and he's added 5 more blocks with a different medication. The med is supposed to last longer. So we'll see. They start Nov. 4th and I will have one every week until the 5th block is done. I got my impairment rating from the MMI(Maximum Medical Improvement). I was rated at 27% disability, which WC is going to fight with passion, because they don't like ratings 15% or over, and I was rated at 16% whole body. I have to find out what that means. I am pretty sure that now I will have to go do another impairment rating by a WC doctor. I'm fine with that, they can only see whats happened to my hand and its condition. Thought I would share with all of you. No sympathy needed here, just prayers. Melani
