I finally had this nerve conduction done today and the doctor doing the test tells me I have VERY CLASSIC symptons but that the test is not saying I have CTS. Symptoms have been going on since first of May. Waking up at night w/ "needles & pins" up and down my arm, progessing to numbnes 24 hr a day in thumb, index, middle finger. Very uncomfortable. I do go for a follow up next week. Can anyone shed any light on this test? Thanks

Hi Marie,

I'm not sure what you mean exactly..Either you have ct or your don't.. If two doctors say you have it, then you probably do...And if the nerve conduction test says you have classic symptoms, but not ct, then I don't get it.. I also had the same test and it told the doctor that I had moderate bilateral ct.. The test should be able to tell the doctor if your ct is, mild, moderate or severe.. Now I'm curious to know what you have... Please keep us updated..
