The ruling stated that CTS-disability would be heard on a case-by-case basis. Not like if you had a stroke or had your legs amputated..no question. Doctors will give you a disability rating...like you have lost 20% use of your hands..and your settlement will be based on your average weekly earnings X how many weeks the % of your disabilty qualifies for...each state is different. Talk to your lawyer..considering he/she will get up to 20% of your award. Good luck....I will be encountering the same situation very soon...use the internet for your research..there is lots of information just waiting for you out there.
